My name is Jess, I am a 19yr old nutrition student living in the beautiful country of New Zealand. I am passionate about all things health and fitness as well as living a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Nutrition and hope to use the knowledge that I gain throughout my study to help others achieve their own personal health goals. For me a healthy person is not the one with the cleanest and most pure diet, but rather the one who listens to their body and nourishes it as well as maintaining balance in all other aspects of their life.
I do not believe in diets but rather finding a lifestyle that works for you long term. For me this means a wholefoods, mostly plant-based approach. It's incredible how your taste buds and body can adapt. I found once I started limiting processed foods and including an abundance of wholefoods I began to rediscover the amazing taste of food the way nature intended for us to eat it.
I have created this blog to share with you things that excite me in life! I will be sharing the many adventures I go on, the things I learn, as well as all of the recipes and workouts I love. No matter who you are, or where you from I hope that through this blog you are inspired to achieve your personal goals. Whether that be to improve your relationship food and boost your self confidence or to simply get outside more, become fitter, happier and healthier!
